Motocross Race 1 Report - Hangtown - Sacramento, CA
May 23, 2011
N-FAB sponsored riders took to the outdoors at the Hangtown National Race for the first of the Lucas Oil Outdoor Motocross Events of the year. Located in Sacramento, CA and destined to be the start of an amazing outdoor motocross season, the N-FAB sponsored riders took to the track and had great starts for there respective seasons. Last years WMX Champion, Jessica Patterson aka JP$, started in championship format with a 1-1-1 Finish. She scored a 1st in both of her Moto's to give her the 1st place overall victory. This year Patterson is sporting an all new look for her Fox Racing Equipment which happens to be plastered with N-FAB logo's. This is a continuance from last years sponsorship and N-FAB is proud to once again be part of the team.
The men did well to start of the year. There were a total of 4 riders running the N-FAB badging and they did as follows... Gareth Swanepoel finished in 9th place in Moto 1 and in 5th place in Moto 2 giving him 6th place overall, Kyle Cunningham finished in 8th place in Moto 1 and in 8th place in Moto 2 giving him 7th place overall, Gannon Audette finished in 14th place in Moto 1 and in 15th place in Moto 2 giving him 13th place overall, and to round out the men, Ryan Sipes finished in 36th place in Moto 1 and in 38th place in Moto 2 giving him a 38th place overall finish.
All in all, this was a successful beginning for what should be a great racing season for the N-FAB sponsored riders.
